- 2003, Texas Instruments Minority/Women Development Blue Chip Supplier Award for 2002.
- 2003, SBC 2003 Supplier Recognition Award for outstanding performance in the category of Customer Service.
- Lucent Technologies awarded SHI the Supply Chain Networks Impact Award for Supplier of the Year. Lucent noted our consistency, reliability, flexibility, and more specifically the software reuse system that we established this year for management of their Microsoft licensing.
- SHI was also one of ten suppliers to receive a Golden Link Award, in recognition for outstanding contributions to Lucent Technologies' Supply Chain Networks Organization. This award was given to the top ten out of 190 major suppliers for Lucent SCN.
- Boeing awarded SHI their Q100 Award for being one of their top 100 suppliers (they have more than 15,000 suppliers)
- Northwest Minority Business Council awarded SHI as Supplier of the Year, Class III (for businesses larger than $10 million annually).
- Bank of America awarded SHI their M/W/DBE for our role in the success of their Supplier Diversity and Development Initiative
